Dr. O'Donnell provides psychological and educational services including the following professional activities:
Psychological Services:
- Evaluations for the diagnosis of learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, and a wide range of other cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional disorders;
- Targeted, solution-focused therapy for children, teens, and adults;
- Development of behavior management/modification programs for reducing challenging behaviors;
- Parent training and problem solving
Educational Services:
- Intensive reading instruction for the remediation of reading disabilities and reading weaknesses;
- Academic coaching;
- Identification of classroom based strategies, accommodations, modifications, and interventions to improve student outcomes;
- Consultation with parents and school personnel regarding student needs and the development of appropriate programming;
- Supporting families in understanding their child’s disability and their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Colorado Education of Exceptional Children Act;
- Collaboration with parents and school personnel to advocate for proper services and accommodations for students with disabilities and unique learning needs
